The Newcastle District Cricket Association celebrated the outstanding achievements of its players, volunteers and clubs at the 2026 Grand Final Lunch.
Hosted by MC Adam Murray, the event recognised the individuals and teams whose performances and contributions helped make the 2025/26 season a success.

- Female Representative Player of the Year: Kate McTaggart
- Male Representative Player of the Year and Paul Marjoribanks Medal: Patrick Moore

- Player of the Year: Dan Chillingworth
- Suburban Districts Club Champions: Wests Cricket Club

2025/26 Teams of the Year
The Female and Male Teams of the Year were selected by Newcastle Cricket Zone selectors Greg Arms and Tom Anderson.
The Female Team of the Year was: Jemma Astley, Kirsten Smith, Abbey Taylor, Lily Railz, Sophie Clune, Nikki Coleman, Eliza Bunner, Chloe Nguyen, Alicia Juratowitch, Emma-Jayne Howe, Alice Puxty and Rochelle Davis.
The Male Team of the Year was: Kobe Allison, Fletcha Middleton, Kashish Pensaja, Cameron Tanner, James Rushford, Joshua Westwood, Dan Chillingworth, Toby Chillingworth, Tim Burton, Callum Creighton and Patrick Huolohan.
The NDCA congratulates all award recipients and Team of the Year selections on their outstanding achievements throughout the 2025/26 season.
