Belmont won the toss and elected to bowl first. Cardiff-Boolaroo capitalised on their opportunity at the crease, posting an impressive 2/153. Bailey Creer led the charge with an unbeaten 45 off 30 balls, while Josh Cust retired at 40 not out. Joe Merlino also played a key role, scoring 33 runs and demonstrating his fielding skills with three crucial catches.

Belmont’s response was led by Jaylen Johnston, who top-scored with 49 runs. He also contributed with the ball, bowling four economical overs, conceding only 11 runs, and taking a catch. Despite his efforts, Belmont fell short, finishing their innings at 8/116. Cardiff-Boolaroo secured their place in the grand final with a well-rounded performance.

Newcastle City won the toss and elected to bowl, sending Wests into bat. Wests put up a strong batting display, scoring 5/142. Elijah Smith top-scored with 44 runs, supported by Tom Thorpe (29) and Thomas Conaghan (25 not out).

City fought hard but ultimately could not chase down the target, finishing at 9/125. Freddie Freeman was their top scorer with 41 runs, but Wests’ disciplined bowling and fielding saw them through to the grand final.

Grand Final: Cardiff-Boolaroo vs. Wests

With both teams hungry for victory, Wests won the toss and elected to bat. They put up a formidable total of 5/151, utilising their full 20 overs. Cardiff-Boolaroo, undefeated leading into the final, gave a valiant chase but fell just short, managing 7/141 in their 20 overs.

Elijah Smith played a pivotal role once again, earning the Rippit Player of the Match title for his outstanding 48 runs off just 35 balls, the highest score in the final.
